We asked Celtic supporters to get in touch with their review of their Scottish Premiership success and how the season went.

And, despite the jubilation at a third title in a row sealed with victory at Kilmarnock, supporters were also realistic about the fight they faced - and the challenges next season will bring.

Here's what you had to say...

'Rodgers has done great job in testing circ*mstances'

Al: Brendan inherited an utter mess. Ange signed 29 players, 20 of whom were third rate and nowhere near Premiership class...let alone Celtic class. Rodgers has done a great job in testing circ*mstances. A much better brand of football has re-emerged when it mattered.

Stefan: I was a bit worried when Brendan Rodgers returned - not because he's bad but because Postecoglu did such a good job, I thought we might have struggled under a new manager. Also, Neil Lennon's return and how we struggled during his second tenure.

SPB: We're glossing over the cracks here. He left knowing full well what the board had done with previous (better) managers. He returns with his tail between his legs and almost destroys the way we played the game in the previous seasons. He came back under the premise of guaranteed backing and I don't see that yet? I won't be surprised if he does it again.

Scott: I have to admit I doubted Rodgers coming back, but given the system the players were used to at the start of the season, the injuries and some poor performances he has turned things around and is moulding a squad that will hopefully deliver for a number of years to come.

JP, Glasgow: Given the injuries and the general sense of ennui at Brendan's re-appointment, this ranks as a really good title win. He has squeezed every bit of juice from a squad which whilst willing, were much less talented than its predecessors. In the big moments, Brendan and the big players have showed up, and shown who runs this town.

Karl: Brendan Rodgers is made of strong stuff, to come back with the support still split over what happened previously and let's face it a weakened squad, he has stuck with it against a negative narrative and a groundswell that had Rangers winning the treble. It just proves he's an elite manager and he will rate this title above the others.

Dylan: There's no doubt that this season was tough and challenging for Celtic, as we faced various issues - such as not spending in January. However, Brendan Rodgers is a top manager and knows how to win league titles at Celtic. It is a relief to get over the line knowing how close Rangers have been this season, but Celtic have the quality players.

'O'Riley has been the best player in Scotland'

Chris: The best we've played all season at arguably one of the toughest grounds in the league. I do feel, though, if we had Carter-Vickers and Hatate fit for the majority of the season it would have been won earlier. Special shout out to Joe Hart as well, phenomenal this season.

Daniel: Hatate's return has been pivotal. O'Riley is the better player, a player like Hatate, who can drag us forward, is what's needed to keep us ticking.

Gordy: Without a doubt Matt O'Riley has been the best player in Scotland this year - an absolute travesty he is not player of the year, but onwards to the Scottish Cup final.

Brian, Felixstowe: This Celtic team clicked at the right times throughout the season. Getting our best midfield trio of McGregor, O'Riley and Hatate was pivotal to our late surge plus the introduction of Forrest was very important.

'A rebuild is now critical'

Ian: Best performance from the best team in Scotland by a country mile. Brendan needs to move on the fringe players who are on big wages and bring in his own players but hopefully the board back him in the transfer market.

Martin: Brendan has demonstrated again that he is a top class manager - his ambition needs to be matched by imagination in player development and recruitment.

Steve: An incredibly entertaining game, and another super performance from Celtic. We moved the ball quickly and never gave Kilmarnock time to settle. If we play with the same intensity on the 25th, the double is on. A rebuild is now critical if we want to improve in Europe. Hopefully, this starts with the signing of Miovski and a keeper as good as Joe Hart.

Owen: Best team won the league, but this campaign highlighted the lack of quality in the bloated squad. Too many average players at the club that need moved on. Three top signings are required to allow Celtic to impose themselves both domestically and in Europe. Let's make competent signings and put daylight between us and our rivals.

Dan: Another title is of course fantastic, but this season felt like going through the motions in many ways. Next season will mean building up in several areas, particularly if O'Riley leaves. Retaining the Japanese players is a must - phenomenal attitude. Long term still means building a team worthy of Europe. Let's see what Brendan can build.
