Without a doubt attending PC has had a profound impact on my life, not just in the immediate time following my graduation but during my working life as well. Although I did not find myself academically through the courses, interacting with the staff and fellow students drastically changed my motivation in life. Initially when i joined the swim team in my freshman year I not really care for athletics, however my coach Ralph Manno changed the way I apply myself to any every goal. I began to change my work ethic both in and outside of the classroom. In my senior year I qualified as an all state athlete.
In addition my religion teacher Michael Shea helped realize my potential impact my community. In doing so I began heavily involved in the retreats and became a peer minister. Because of both of these achievements I was awarded a scholarship to my first college Iona university. These two teachers changed who I was and how I approach my day to day life.

Personally, PC has been great for my first 3 years and I cant wait to go into senior year. I can’t say that the good definitely outweighs some of the not so great experiences I have had. I have met many great friends, and have great communication with my teachers. We have just started to get more school spirit events and I am glad that it brings us the opportunity for the whole student body to get together. Since it is a smaller school it’s most likely that almost everyone knows everyone. I hope senior year goes well.

Paramus Catholic is marketed as a college prep school that focuses on the education and safety of its students, yet they do anything but that. I received the same treatment and prepping attitude as if I were in a public school, maybe even less. The only students that received the most recourses were the white students and athletes. Many students of color have received discriminatory, racist, and unfair treatment from faculty and other students, and there was no change done. Hearing that a student was told that "he should be grateful he's not picking cotton" by a teacher, and that teacher returning, does not strike me as a a school who cares about the students.
